CEREMONY:

There is a maximum of 50 guests allowed per ceremony.  This does not include your wedding party.  (If you go over the maximum number of guests your wedding will be cancelled.)

Ceremonies may be reserved between the hours of 10am – 4pm for 1 hour.  This is an outdoor venue.

Please do not arrive earlier than your reserved time slot.  For example; if you book the venue from 12pm-1pm time, you or your guests are not permitted to arrive before 12pm to decorate, set up etc and your wedding, including photographs and clean up, etc and must be done by 1pm.

If you are not booking accommodations we cannot provide a location for the bride, groom, wedding party or guests to get ready for the wedding, you must come ready.

To be courteous to our Owners, guests and other wedding parties, wedding ceremonies must not overlap or go over the allotted time bracket or you will be subject to an additional fee starting at $550.00.

SET UP & CLEAN UP:

Chairs and arbor are not offered for our Winter Weddings.  You are responsible for set up and clean up for all other additional amenities.  We only allow bubbles to be “thrown” on our beach.  No birdseed, rice, rose petals (real or fake) etc.  Failure to comply will result in an additional fee starting at $200.00 for any clean up or damage.

MUSIC:

Tahoe Beach & Ski Club does not provide any music and there is no electrical feed/access.  Tahoe Beach & Ski Club Management prohibits all music, musical instruments or equipment, to be used during the ceremony, unless you receive prior written approval.

VENDORS:

You are responsible for providing your own wedding professionals from beginning to end.  Tahoe Beach & Ski Club must be made aware of your chosen venders.  You must provide vendor name, service(s) provided and current contact information.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES:

Reservations may be booked through the On-Site Rental Relations Supervisor at 530-542-8116.  Necessary information is needed in order to reserve a time slot:  name and address of bride and groom, date and time of ceremony, number of people attending, name and phone number of person reserving space and a valid credit card (See Deposit/Payment Policies).

RATES: 

November 15 – March 31

• 1-25 guests:  $175
• 26-50 guests:  $225

NO weddings allowed on Christmas or New Years.

DEPOSIT/PAYMENT POLICIES:

A 50% deposit on a credit card is required at the time of booking.  The balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date and the initial card that was provided will be automatically charged unless you provide another card.  We do not accept checks.  If your wedding date is within 30 days of the booking date, then 100% deposit is required at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

You may cancel without penalty 30 days prior to your wedding date.  Should you cancel within 30 days of your wedding date you will forfeit your deposit.

*Cancellations must be in writing, if not, we will keep the entire deposit amount.

NON-SMOKING:

We are a non-smoking property except for designated smoking areas.

RECEPTIONS:

Sorry, we do not allow receptions on our property.

PET POLICY:

We do not allow pets of any size, unless they are registered to assist the disabled.

PARKING POLICY:

If you are not booking wedding accommodations at Tahoe Beach & Ski Club, we will allow up to 10 vehicles to park on our property for the allotted time slot that you have booked (10 parking passes will be provided).  Others will have to make prior arrangements to park off-property or car-pool.  To ensure the proper guests receive a parking pass we ask that a list of names, for those who will be driving or in the car, be provided no later than one week prior to the wedding day.  On the day of the wedding, please advise those who are on the parking pass list, I will begin to distribute the passes when your time slot begins out at the beach/parking lot area.  If guests show up early they will be asked to come back at the appropriate time.  If a guest is not on the list, they will be asked to find other parking arrangements.  If you do not provide a list, I will distribute the 10 passes on a first come first served basis.  Once all 10 passes have been handed out, your guests will have to park off property.  Vehicles parked illegally or without a parking permit will be towed at the owner’s expense.

DISCLAIMER:

We are not responsible for inclement weather or wedding delays.  If you decide to cancel your wedding ceremony, the above cancellation terms will apply.

We are an outside beach wedding venue.  We do not have another indoor location or do we allow for tents on our beach.

LIABILITY RELEASE:

You voluntarily release and hold harmless Tahoe Beach & Ski Club Owners Association, directors, officers, members, partners, owners, employees, agents and their successors in interest (Releasees”) and waive and relinquish any and all claims or causes of action against the Releasees, including but not limited to all claims or causes of personal injury, wrongful death or property damage occurring to you, the Releasees, or others or the property of others, resulting from, in connection with or relating to the Activity or any activity incidental thereto, including without limitation use of the Association’s indoor or outdoor premises, facilities, equipment and real or personal property.  This release includes, without limitation, any personal injury, death or property damage caused in whole or in part by the fault of any Releasee, whether due to passive or active negligence, or other cause.

PHOTO RELEASE:

You waive the right to inspect or approve any photographs taken by Tahoe Beach & Ski Club of you, your wedding or a combination of both, to be used for publications, including web sites or other electronic forms of media and/or promotional material.  In addition, you agree to release and hold harmless Tahoe Beach & Ski Club against any claims arising from the use or alteration of any photograph and you waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We collect personal identifying information, such as contact information, street address, telephone number(s), credit card and e-mail address via handwritten forms used by Tahoe Beach & Ski Club.  We do not provide your personal identifying information to third parties unless you provide consent or if it is necessary to fulfill your requested services.  In addition, we may provide your information, where permitted or required by law, in order to enforce our rights or protect our property.
